Bentley’s New Cars are no Longer Affordable?
For years, Bentley is world-widely known as a car company that only manufactures any kinds of cars with are affordable and relatively cheaper than other manufacturers. Even though sometimes comes with Bentley’s New Model, Bentley seems to never produce expensive cars. Recently, however, Bentley’s New Model are mostly priced from more than $150,000 up to $300,000; indicating the Bentley’s shifting reputation as cheap car manufacturer.
Although there are no exact and official reports of what Bentley’s cars are priced at such whopping price, it is reported that the main factor of this shifting is car brand positioning. It is also issued that there will be two Bentley’s New cars that can no longer be regarded as affordable cars.
Bentley Mulsanne and Continental family are said to be the next two Model that are about to release, after the shifting announcement. Actually, the idea of the reputation shifting and these new Model’ release has been proposed previously by former CEO of Bentley, Franz-Josef Paefgen. The recent boss of Bentely, however, would make sure that the project can smoothly run. Wolfgang Durheimer, the former Porche’s officials who is the replacement of Paefgen, once experienced products slotting, when 911 and Boxster are included into Porsche’s Cayenne.
